Google Adds More Functionality To +1 Button

Google’s +1 button has been updated to allow users to share webpages they like by pressing the button

Google continues to update the functionality of Google+ with the news that social networking users can now share webpages they like by clicking the now ubiquitous Google +1 button.

This Google +1 button exists on more than 1 million websites and gets more than 4 billion daily views, double from last month.

But how can a social networking service be a success if people who wants to use it has no way to sign up for the service, and cannot invite their friends to the same network? In fact, Google has failed to deliver in their previous social networking initiatives, including Google Buzz and Orkut.
